The Walking Dead

The previously posted tv series, The Walking Dead, has its roots in
comic history. The comicbook is the base of the tv series, and provides an addicting story, with an involving argument and touching characters .I highly recommend it, I read all the issues until the last one, and the story just abducted me and transported me to the world inside the comic. I just can't wait every month to see the new chapter of the story.

Created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, the story take place after Rick wakes up in the hospital after being shot in the shoulder, and follows him and other characters in the world trough his quest for the life that they once had.

Argument:
The Walking Dead is centered on Rick Grimes, a small-town police officer from Cynthiana, Kentucky, his family, and a number of other survivors who have banded together in order to survive after the world is overrun with zombies. As the series progresses, the characters become more developed, and their personalities shift under the stress of a zombie apocalypse, most notably Rick's.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

Spartacus: Blood and Sand is a Starz television series that premiered on January 22, 2010. The series focuses on the historical figure of Spartacus (played by Andy Whitfield), a Thracian gladiator who from 73 to 71 BC led a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic. Executive producers Steven S. DeKnight and Robert Tapert focused on structuring the events of Spartacus' obscure early life leading to the records of history. The show has been rated TV-MA for graphic violence, strong sexual content, and coarse language.
The show was initially renewed for a second season, but production was delayed because Whitfield was diagnosed with early-stage non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Due to the delay, Starz is producing a six-episode prequel series, entitled Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Pre-production of season 2 began following the announcement that Whitfield was cancer free, however his cancer recurred and it was announced he will not be returning for season 2.

The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series developed for television by Frank Darabont and based upon the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. It premiered on the AMC network on October 31, 2010 with a 70-minute premiere episode, during the network's "Fearfest". AMC has renewed the series for a second season of 13 episodes.
The series follows a small group of survivors traveling across the desolate United States in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse as they search for a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the undead. Led by Rick Grimes, a former sheriff's deputy, the group's increasing desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of insanity. At every turn they are faced with unspeakable horrors, both from those who are dead, and from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace.

Flour Pancakes

Today I'm gonna post a recipe. These are flour pancakes, usually filled with sweet aditives, are also made with vegetables in the dough. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
-Two tea cups of flour
-One cup of powder milk
-One egg
-A spoon of kitchen oil
-A small spoon of powder yeast
-Water

Preparation:
-Mix the flour with the eggs, the oil and the yeast. When you get a barely homogeneus mix, add water by small cups until you get a liquid mix, like oil. At this point you can add vegetables like pepper, carrot, etc. if you want.

-In a medium pan, put a drop of oil and spread with paper, to get a little brown to the final pancake.

-Full a serving soup spoon with the mix and drop it on the pan. Wait until it looks solid and a little more brown, and carefully with a pallete turn around the now solid pancake untill its ready, not burnt.

And that is how you do flour pancakes. Bon appetite!

Stan

"Stan" is the third single from The Marshall Mathers LP, by rapper Eminem featuring Dido. It peaked at number one in the United Kingdom and Australia. It is also included on Curtain Call: The Hits, performed with Eminem and Dido as well track 17 on Curtain Call: The Hits as a live Performance from the 2001 Grammy awards featuring Elton John. The song was produced by The 45 King and Eminem, and uses a slightly modified break from Dido's "Thank You" as its base sample. The track also samples the opening lines of "Thank You" as its chorus. Coincidentally, both songs were released as singles in late 2000. Stan has been called one of Eminem's best songs and is considered one of his signature songs.
